LINCOLN AVENUE BIKE Council received and <br />LANE STATUS, COUNCIL ordered filed status <br />REFERRAL ITEM NO. 158 report dated October 29, <br /> 1974, from the Director <br />of Public Works regarding Lincoln Avenue Bike Lane, and <br />instructed the Clerk to delete it from the Council Referral <br />Summary on the unanimously approved (6-0) motion of Councilman <br />Griset, seconded by Councilman Ward. (CA 18.6) <br /> <br />CONSOLIDATED ELECTION <br />SANTA ANA UNIFIED <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> <br />Ana Unified School District, <br />the School District that its <br /> <br />Council received memoran- <br />dum dated October 30, <br />1974, regarding costs of <br />election for the Santa <br />and instructed the Clerk to notify <br />election consolidation cost will <br /> <br />amount to $10,000 or 25% of the actual total election costs, <br />whichever option it elects, and instructed the City Attorney <br />to amend Resolution No. 74-18 to reflect this information, <br />when it becomes available, on motion of Councilman Griset, <br />seconded by Councilman Garthe, with dissenting vote by Council- <br />man Evans [5-1). VAL MAILANDER extended an invitation <br /> to Council to attend a <br /> reception at the Bahia <br />Corinthian Yacht Club, 1601 Bayside Drive, Corona del Mar, <br />from the American Foundation for Science of Creative Intelli- <br />gence, honoring all leaders of government in Orange County. <br />(CA 46) <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />PROGRAM <br /> <br />Council considered the <br />following documents: <br /> <br />Report from City Manager, dated October 31, <br />proposing guidelines for projects, with <br />related cost estimates, for an application <br />to HUD for monies totalling 12 million dol- <br />lars, available through the Community Develop- <br />ment Act, for a six-year period commencing 1975; <br /> <br />Memorandum from the Chairman of the Human Rela- <br />tions Commission recommending extensive meetings <br />regarding proposed projects in the various <br />communities with the Commission acting as a <br />contiguous part of the information and notice <br />process and endorsing the Planning Department <br />proposal dated October 17, included in the <br />Manager's report entitled "Policy Issues in <br />Community Development Program" dated October 18; <br /> <br />Letter from West Community Service Center Advisory <br />Board transmitting a petition requesting appoint- <br />ment of a citizens commission to act in an advisory <br />capacity regarding use of federal funds available <br />to the City under the Community Development Act, <br />1974. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 409 NOVEMBER 4, 1974 <br /> <br /> <br />
