<br />. . <br /> <br />, . <br /> <br />. All peripheral equipment shall be functionally tested for proper alarm <br />operation. Minimum 100% per year. <br />. One device on each initiating and signaling zone shall be disconnected <br />to determine proper supervision of wiring. <br />. All control equipment and auxiliary functions shall be checked for <br />proper response to trouble and alarm conditions (Le., City Response, <br />AHU Shut-down). <br />. All control equipment shall be tested for proper voltages during trouble <br />and alarm conditions. <br />. All batteries must be tested under load for the required time period to <br />ensure proper operation. <br />. Provide complete documentation of the entire fire alarm inspection and <br />.' test, listing all peripheral equipment (by location, device type, alarm <br />zone, sensitivity test results) and listing discrepancies (including any <br />repairs made while on-site). <br />. All inspection, functional testing, and audit functions must be <br />performed in accordance with respective nationally recognized <br />standards (NFPA 72), and state fire codes. <br /> <br />// <br /> <br />1.2 <br /> <br />Documentation that documents the above tests, (including but not limited <br />to) individual peripheral locations along with there sensitivity test results <br />(rating verses actual) and individual zone test results (normal verses <br />abnormal) must be submitted at the time of the tesVinspection. <br /> <br />1.3 <br /> <br />Tests and inspections shall be performed, utilizing (two (2) company <br />qualified personnel. The representatives shall be present during the entire <br />inspection and utilize the following equipment supplied by the Company; <br /> <br />1.3.1 Two (2), two-way radios. <br /> <br />1.3.2 "Gemini" or equivalent smoke detector sensitivity tester. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Decibel meter. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Controlled temperature heat detector tester for fixed temperature <br />and rate of rise heat detectors. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Testing signs (free standing to be placed at entrance of building, <br />minimum 2' x 2'. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Volt-ohm meter (VOH) and other equipment needed to properly test <br />and inspect the systems. <br /> <br />1.4 <br /> <br />Tests and Inspections shall be scheduled two (2) weeks in advance with <br />facility personnel. <br /> <br />1.5 Company shall be capable of making minor repairs while on-site.
