AGREEMENT' CouncilmenEvans and <br />TITLE & ESCROW SERVICES Bricken withdrew from <br />NO ACTION the Council Chambers <br /> declaring conflicts <br />of interest arising from serving as an officer of First <br />American Title Company, and owning stock in First American, <br />respectively. <br /> <br />Councilman Ortiz' motion to approve the following agreement <br />and authorize its execution by the Mayor and Clerk was <br />seconded by Councilman Brandt. A motion to table, by Coun- <br />cilman Brandt seconded by Councilman Ortiz, failed to carry <br />(5:1) with Councilman Yamamoto dissenting and Councilmen <br />Evans and Bricken abstaining. The original motion also <br />failed to carry ($:1) with Councilman Yamamoto dissenting <br />and Councilmen Evans and Bricken abstaining: <br /> <br />DISCOUNT TITLE & ESCROW SERVICES Between <br />City and First American Title Company to pro- <br />vide services at discount rates.
