<br />6.4 Senior Police Officer II. Any sworn, safety-member Police <br />Officer, regardless of duty assignment, who fulfills the <br />requirements established in this section shall be designated <br />as a Senior Police Officer II and shall be paid at a rate <br />set twenty-five (25) salary rate ranges (approximately <br />12.5%) above his or her then current base monthly salary <br />step in the Police Officer classification. The criteria for <br />such designation shall be as follows: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Completion of seven (7) <br />experience in the Police <br />which thirty (30) months <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />years of municipal police <br />Officer classification, of <br />must be with the Santa Ana <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Completion (acquisition) of at <br />educational/training units; or <br />Associate of Arts degree from an <br />with an additional thirty <br />educational/training units. <br /> <br />least ninety (90) <br />possession of an <br />accredited college <br />(30) or more <br /> <br />C. The criteria for such <br />designation shall be as follows: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Completion of nine (9) <br />experience in the Police <br />which thirty (30) months <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />years of municipal police <br />Officer classification, of <br />must be with the Santa Ana <br /> <br />B. Completion (acquisition) of at least one hundred twenty <br />(120) educational/training units; or possession of an <br />Associate of Arts degree from an accredited college <br />with an additional sixty (60) or more <br />educational/training units. <br /> <br />C. Any officer holding the rank of <br />Police Sergeant in the Santa Ana Police Department, <br />regardless of duty assignment, who fulfills the requirements <br />established in this section shall be designated as a Senior <br />Police Sergeant I and shall be paid at a rate set fifteen <br />(15) salary rate ranges (approximately 7.5%) above his or <br />her then current base monthly salary step.
