The printer shall be an HP 2300 or approved equal. 2.15 SMS SOFTWARE A. Operating Systems and Utility Programs: The SMS Server Computer, SMS Color Printer, and cameras shall be furnished with an operating systems and other utility software as required to support the specified functions. The CITY shall be provided with copies of all operating system, programming and graphical development software and all related software licenses at the completion of the project. 1. Operating Systems: Each operating system (OS) shall be a standard, unmodified program and shall be the latest version available. Each OS shall be capable of supporting the applications software in a real-time, multi -tasking environment. Each OS shall include device drivers for the memory and 1/0 devices furnished, and shall provide all other functions as required for the orderly and timely execution of all software furnished. The operating system shall be the latest Microsoft Windows Server standard edition that supports all of the listed SMS software applications packages or approved equal. 2. Development Utilities: A comprehensive set of utility programs shall be provided for the development, expansion and maintenance of the complete software package. 3. Security Management: Security and access software shall be provided as required to support the access security requirement specified under the Applications Software Package. 4. Diagnostics: A complete set of diagnostic routines shall be furnished to test and report faults of all computers, peripherals, and the cameras. 5. Backup: Software shall be furnished and installed on the SMS Server Computer for backup of the SMS Server Computer. 6. MS Office Professional: The latest version of Microsoft Office Professional shall be provided with the SMS Server Computer. B. SMS Relay Server Software: The SMS Relay Server Software shall provide a full range of camera management and viewing features for a minimum of 16 networked cameras. Cameras shall be capable of being viewed and operated from anywhere on -site or off -site by authorized users from any (future) networked PC's.
