B. Relay Sockets: Relay Sockets for 8-pin Relays shall be Idec No. SR2P-06 or approved <br />equal. <br />2.10 CIRCUIT BREAKERS <br />A. Circuit Breakers: Circuit Breakers shall be single pole, 120 VAC, 20 or 15 Ampere <br />rating or as required to protect wires and equipment mounted inside and powered <br />from the Security Equipment Panel. <br />2.11 TERMINAL BLOCKS <br />A. Terminal blocks shall be molded plastic with barriers and box lug screw clamp <br />terminals, and shall be rated 15 amperes at 600 volts. White marking strips, fastened <br />securely to the molded sections, shall be provided and wire numbers or circuit <br />identifications shall be marked thereon with permanent marking fluid. Terminal <br />blocks shall be WAGO, Entrelec, Phoenix, or equal. <br />2.12 SIGNAL AND CONTROL CIRCUIT WIRING <br />A. Wire type and sizes: Conductor within each Security Equipment Panel shall be <br />flexible stranded copper machine tool wire; these shall be UL listed Type MTW and <br />shall be rated 600 volts. Wire for instrument signal circuits, including shielded cables, <br />and alarm input circuit shall be No. 16 AWG. All other wires shall be No. 14 AWG <br />minimum. <br />B. Wire Insulation Colors: Conductors within each Security Equipment Panel supplying <br />120 volts ac power on the line side of a disconnecting switch shall have a black <br />insulation for the ungrounded conductor. Grounded circuit conductors shall have <br />white insulation. Insulation for ungrounded 120-volt ac control circuit conductors shall <br />be red. All wires energized by a voltage source external to the Control Panel(s) shall <br />have yellow insulation. Insulation for all do conductors shall be blue. <br />C. Wire Marking: Each signal, control, alarm, and indicating circuit conductor, <br />connected to a given electrical point shall be designated by a single unique wire <br />number which shall be shown on all shop drawings. These numbers shall be marked <br />on all conductors at every terminal using white numbered wire markers which shall be <br />plastic -coated cloth, Brady Type B-500, Thomas and Betts "E-Z Code," or equal, or <br />shall be permanently marked heat -shrink plastic. <br />2.13 SMS SERVER COMPUTER <br />A. One computer shall be provided as the SMS Server Computer. The SMS Sever <br />Computer shall be located in the existing Corporate Yard Control Room Console. <br />The computer shall have a minimum of three 146 GB 10K RPM Ultra SCSI hard disk <br />drives, RAID level 5, a minimum of 3GB DDR2 SDRAM 400MHz, a 20" flat panel <br />color monitor @ .21 mm dot pitch and a minimum 1600 x 1200 resolution. One <br />Ethernet card shall also be provided for the server for connection to the SMS <br />Network. The flat panel type color monitors shall be manufactured by Sony, NEC, <br />DELL or approved equal.
