<br />Director of Personnel Services within fifteen (15) days of its receipt and must <br />be resolved within fifteen (15) remaining days so that the bills are paid in a <br />timely manner as stated (within thirty (30) days of its receipt). <br /> <br />8. The Union shall provide an insurance policy or policies, or certificate of such <br />insurance, naming the City of Santa Ana, its officers and employees as <br />insured or additional insured which provides coverage against liability for any <br />and all claims and/or suits for damages or injuries to persons or property <br />resulting from or arising out of any act or omission of said Union <br />representative. Said policy or policies of insurance shall provide coverage for <br />both bodily injury and property damage not less than the following minimum <br />amounts: One million dollars ($1,000,000) combined single limit or its <br />equivalent. Said policy or policies shall also contain a provision that no <br />termination, cancellation or change of coverage of insured or additional <br />insured shall be effective until thirty (30) days notice thereof has been given <br />in writing to the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />9. The Union shall provide the City of Santa Ana with an insurance carrier <br />certifying that it carries primary workers' compensation insurance on behalf <br />of said Union representative and the policy shall not be canceled nor coverage <br />reduced except upon ten (I 0) working days prior notice to the City of Santa <br />Ana. <br /> <br />10. The Union shall indemnify and save harmless the City of Santa Ana, its <br />officers and employees from and against any and all damage to property or <br />injuries to or death of any person or persons, including property and <br />employees or agents to the City of Santa Ana. The Union shall defend, <br />indemnify, and save harmless the City of Santa Ana, its officers and <br />employees from any kind and all claims to demands, suits, actions or <br />proceedings of any kind or nature, including, but not by way of limitations, <br />workers' compensation claims, resulting from or arising out of the negligent <br />acts, errors, or omissions, arising out of the intentional or malicious acts of <br />the Union's representatives. <br /> <br />11. The Union and the City of Santa Ana agree that the Union President will not <br />be required to carry out any City duties during the time the Union President <br />is on President's leave twenty (20) hours per week. The Union President will <br />be required to comply with the rules and regulations ofthe City of Santa Ana <br />as they apply to off-duty employees, except such Union President will not be <br />required to report for any purpose during the four (4) hours per day or twenty <br />(20) hours per week of Union President's leave time. <br /> <br />12. Upon return to duty from President's Leave of four (4) hours per day, the <br />Union President shall be restored to the same position without loss of any <br /> <br />62 <br />
