<br />3. At the close of the donation period, the department shall verify that each <br />donating employee has accrued vacation and/or compensatory time balances <br />sufficient to cover the designated donation. <br /> <br />4. The department shall submit all approved donation authorizations for an <br />eligible employee at one time for processing. No donation authorizations for <br />the eligible employee will be processed after this period. However, <br />employees who receive donations under this procedure and who exhaust all <br />donated hours may request an additional donation period subject to the <br />provisions of Section A, herein. <br /> <br />5. The City shall add the donated time to the recipient's sick leave account. <br /> <br />23.4 Joint Labor Management Teams. The City and the Union agree to form Joint Labor <br />Management teams for the purpose of exploring issues of mutual concern. Each team shall <br />be comprised of an equal number of labor and management employees and shall be chaired <br />by the Employee Relations Manager. In no case shall the activity of a team create a delay <br />or hindrance to the ongoing operation of the City. The City and the Union shall hold an <br />initial meeting no sooner than one (I) month of ratification of this Agreement and upon the <br />Union's written request to meet to determine team composition, frequency of meetings and <br />meeting schedules. <br /> <br />The teams to be formed are: <br /> <br />A. Career Ladder/Job Familv (for the purpose of developing career ladder/job family <br />series to be used in promotions or in the event oflayoffs). <br /> <br />B. Flexible Staffing: (for the purpose of establishing a Flexible Staffing/Career <br />Development Program for employees wishing to become eligible to promote from <br />Fleet Equipment Technician I to Fleet Equipment Technician II). <br /> <br />76 <br />
