<br />Attachment B <br /> <br />1.4 SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />The surveillance system shall perform the following functional processes to <br />support CHP and TMC operations: <br /> <br />. 8 cameras for 3 identified locations with stand-alone poles independent <br />of the bridge structure. <br />. Up to 500 feet of Fiber Optic Cabling, up to 500 feet Fiber Optic <br />Interface Link (TX/RX) and up to 500 feet underground conduit for <br />each camera to Caltrans' communication main trunk. <br />. Digital Video Recording System: 8 video Input Channels with PTZ, 8 <br />Input Vehicle Detection I Content Analysis Application, AMS Server <br />Software License, Client Software License, Web Based Training <br />License and Onsite Support Services. <br />. System Setup and Training from Certified Engineer <br />. Server fl AMS Server Software <br />. Workstation fl Client Software and back up monitoring at CHP <br />communication supervisor. <br />. 70" EIA Equipment Rack - Non-Seismic <br />. NEMA Enclosures <br /> <br />The system shall provide the capability to record during video surveillance; <br />detection of undesirable activities by use of "smart" software, and alarms of <br />undesirable detections to CHP officers in the TMC. The new system will be <br />separate from existing communication infrastructure in the TMC. The project <br />includes system design, installation, and personnel training to operate and <br />maintain it. <br />
