<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />1. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />A. Consultant shall provide end user computer training in the use of the Windows <br />operating system and office applications for Santa Ana Police personnel. <br />B. Each training session will be conducted on the premises of the Santa Ana Police <br />Department unless otherwise agreed by the Consultant and the City in writing. <br />C. Class size shall be limited to a maximum of twenty (20) persons unless otherwise <br />agreed, in writing, by the parties. <br />D. City shall, at least three days prior to each training session, inform Consultant of <br />the number of participants to ensure adequate materials will be prepared and <br />available. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION <br /> <br />City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept for its services, the following rates: <br /> <br />A. City will pay the instructor $325.00 per day of instruction. <br />B. City will pay $10.00 per participant for the cost of a manual and class material. <br />C. The total sum payable to Consultant under this Agreement, including <br />reimbursement for class materials, shall not exceed ten thousand dollars <br />($10,000.00) during the term of this Agreement. <br /> <br />3. CANCELLATION <br /> <br />City may cancel any scheduled training session by giving written notice three (3) <br />business days prior to the scheduled session. No penalty or charge shall be imposed on <br />City for such cancellation except the cost of class materials prepared by Consultant in <br />anticipation of such training session. <br /> <br />8 <br />
