The unit has been <br />experiencing a continuous increase in the calls for assistance and has been proactively engaged <br />in community policing activities, however, the current funding for the unit is insufficient. <br /> <br />Goal: <br /> <br />To conduct investigations leading to the identification, apprehension, prosecution, and conviction of <br />repeat offenders. To identify current trends in crime and disorder impacting Fullerton communities <br />or residents, develop operational plans, and take appropriate action to resolve concerns. <br /> <br />Obiectives: <br /> <br />The goals will be accomplished by utilizing overtime to conduct the following: <br /> <br />· Coordinate with Parole and Probation to conduct investigations and/or searches of <br />violators <br />. Develop and maintain informants capable of providing information regarding persons <br />involved in criminal activity <br />· Assist other divisions, units, and agencies by providing investigative support <br />· Provide quarterly training to other police personnel covering contemporary investigative <br />Issues. <br /> <br />Ouantifiable Performance Measures: <br /> <br />The success of the Crime Impact Unit will be based on the following statistics: <br /> <br />.
