Marquee Message Display Control Software <br /> <br />Proposer shall provide marquee message display control software that meets the following <br />specifications: <br />a) Control software for the displays shall be windows based. It shall provide <br />simple, user-friendly features for creating, editing, scheduling, running and <br />deleting messages <br />b) Software shall include profanity protection <br />c) Display shall have the ability to store a minimum of 100 messages <br />d) Each frame shall have the ability to contain a minimum of 50 frames <br />e) Hold times for each frame must be variable in 0.03 second increments with a <br />minimum of 0 seconds and a minimum of 1 hour <br />f) Each message shall be stored in a single file <br />g) Messages shall run in a looping queue <br />h) The software must have the ability to schedule up to 100 messages <br />i) A single frame shall encompass the entire face of the display <br />j) The contents of a text window shall be capable of being left, center, or right <br />justified horizontally <br />k) Messages may be retrieved from the display for editing <br />1) Messages shall consist of a series of frames with each frame containing a set of <br />windows <br />(1) Each frame may have an image in the background with the ability to <br />overlay text in windows <br />(2) Windows may be placed free form at any location within the frame <br />(3) Windows may be overlapped <br />(4) Text windows have a transparent background <br />m) For message creation, the display shall support the storage and use of a <br />minimum of five (5) English alphanumeric character fonts <br />n) Foreign language characters (Spanish and Vietnamese) shall also be included in <br />the available font set <br />0) The software shall have the ability to copy and paste text from most Windows <br />applications <br />p) The software shall have the ability to display time and date in widely used <br />formats within a message.
