Aghjayan in an <br />amount not to exceed $50,000 for energy consulting services. <br />DI3CU38ION <br />There are a number of opportunities for energy efficiency programs available <br />through Southern California Edison and through the State of California. To <br />take advantage of the available programs, staff is proposing to contract with <br />Edward K. Aghjayan, a consultant with experience in managing multiple energy <br />programs, to assist in evaluating the various energy program options, their <br />applicability to the City and the benefits of each program. <br />The City is currently evaluating community based energy efficiency program <br />options and community aggregation alternatives now possible through a change <br />in state law. Staff recommends the proposed agreement with Mr. Aghjayan to <br />assist staff in developing program recommendations. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available in the Public Works Administration activity for <br />contractual services (account no. 101-601-6291). <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />G , <br />-games G.
