Jonathan Guardado
Santa Ana, CA 92701
Date: March 5 2025
The Honorable City hall
Santa Ana City Hall 20 Civic Center Plaza Santa Ana
CA 92701
(714) 647-5400
Dear Valerie Aniezua,
Hello, my name is Jonathan Guardado and I live in the city of Santa Ana. I am in my 3rd year of high
school. I am writing this letter to you to bring awareness to the problem in my city about homeless staying
in public places like bus stops parks and beaches this could be a big problem for families that take their
kids to the park and then to the bus stop for the many only kid's teens that take the bus at night and have
to wait there just for there to be a homeless person sleeping where you sit, This could be very dangerous
because we don't know what they will do to get money for their next drug. I know many of them could
have gotten there due to money loss army etc but this shouldn't stop us from making more hostile
architecture adding to seats and places where they could sleep for the night and I feel like they should
keep doing that till there no more spots for them to stay at and then they will need to go.
My main problem is that they are sleeping in places people go and it's supper dangerous for them to be
there we don't know what they want to do with people around them i think the thing we should do is a hair
more people that know about making more hostile architecture and just keep adding to the city main spots
and then they will start to go away and move to different cities and there won't be as money.
So that's why I think this could help our city even though it might not be much at first we could do small
things and it will make our city look cleaner than now that there a homeless people everywhere and it
doesn't seem good and nice are city will Gook mere dengue and not LA or other bad cities near and maybe
Ariake the bus stops safer with a bench and a thing for the rain little things could help and like I'm saying
make it better and amazing for everyone.
Sincerely,

Jonathan Guardado.
