PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />11 <br />75.13. <br />PARAMEDIC SERVICE FEES AND COMMUNITY EMERGENCY <br />RESPONSE TEAM PROGRAM <br />To consider establishing a Community Emergency Response Team <br />(CERT) program and increasing the Paramedic Service Fees <br />Presentation of staff report by Fire Chief Marc Martin <br />Presentation of written communication by Clerk of the Council: None <br />Glen Stroud thanked Chief Martin and Councilmember Franklin for <br />supporting the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program, <br />amd thanked the Council for providing this program to the residents. <br />Public hearing was closed. <br />Motion: 1. Adopt resolution. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-099 - A resolution of the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana increasing the paramedic service fee and adopting <br />the fee to the Miscellaneous fee schedule <br />2. Approve appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative <br />votes.) <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 02-111 - Recognizing <br />$126,800.00 in general fund revenue and appropriating same to the <br />Office of the Chief expenditure accounts to provide for the <br />administration and operation of a Community Emergency Response <br />Team program <br />3.
