CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Councilmember Alvarez: <br />■ Thanked the City Council for their support of the joint use agreement <br />with the Santa Ana Unified School District <br />• Reminded residents that the California Police and Fire Games will be <br />held June 16, 2002 through June 22, 2002, and that sixty events will <br />be held at forty locations <br />■ Noted that the Mariachi Festival was held on May 11, 2202 and was <br />very successful; she thanked all staff involved and thanked the <br />Councilmembers for their support <br />■ Noted that the softball game played on May 11, 2002 by the Fire and <br />Police departments resulted in a win for the Fire Department <br />• Wished all Santa Ana fathers a happy Fathers' Day <br />Councilmember Christy: <br />• Congratulated the Orange County Sikh Center for it's very successful <br />event held on May 31, 2002 for the community <br />■ Congratulated the Santa Ana 1s` Church of the Nazarene on it's 90t' <br />Anniversary <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />215 <br />JUNE 3, 2002 <br />
