5. Response to Comments and Prepare Final Mitigated Negative Declaration Following the required public/agency review period for the project MN-D, URS will respond to agency and public comments. URS will respond to one round of City comments and produce a Final MND for consideration by the Planning Commission and City Council. The scope and extent of public and agency review comments cannot be precisely determined before their receipt. If additional effort is required to complete the Draft Final MND, then URS will notify the City and work up to the limits of our budget. pending City approval of a contract modification should additional time be needed by URS to respond to comments received on the MND.. URS will be responsible for filing the project Notice of Determination (NOD) with the Orange County Clerk. URS assumes that the City will provide URS with a check for S1,800 to cover Fish and Wildlife fees that will be required to file the NOD with the County Clerk. This fee, or any other project -related filing fees, are not included in this proposal. 6. Attend Meetings The URS Project Manager and appropriate technical staff will attend all necessary meetings to include public hearings and project coordination meetings. At this time URS assumes that there will be one public meeting on the proposed commercial project before the City`s Planning Commission and one before the City Council. Also, it is assume that two coordination meetings will be held with City staff on this project in addition to the project kick-off meeting.V 7. Project Schedule Pursuant to our meeting at your office on November 29. 2007, attached is a revised/updated schedule for the completion of all technical studies and IS/MND for the subject project. The schedule includes time for the preparation of the above -listed technical studies, IS, the Proposed MND, City reviews of these documents. and the 21- day public review period for the project MND. 8. Cost Also attached to this letter proposal is a time -and -materials cost estimate that has been broken down in detail for each task necessary to complete the project environmental documentation. No sub -consultants will be necessary to prepare the technical studies required to support the conclusions of the project IS/MND.
