AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR <br />FIVE -CITY TRAFFIC STUDY <br />June 1, 1992 <br />Page 2 <br />Staff from each of the cities has agreed that the scope of work <br />needs to be revised. The revised scope of work will continue to <br />focus on short-range time frames, but will use a seven-year period <br />through 1999. The seven-year time frame was agreed to because it <br />is more compatible with transportation planning for Congestion <br />Management and Measure M Program purpose. <br />The land use data will be revised accordingly and new traffic <br />forecasts will be produced. The revised forecasts will be used to <br />update the short-range traffic improvements. Cost estimates will <br />be produced for the improvements and a nexus analysis will be <br />conducted to allocate costs to the various jurisdictions. The <br />study will include a seven-year transportation improvement program <br />and corresponding nexus findings. Improvements needed will be <br />specified in terms of needed traffic system improvements.
