· Creating Events The IQICAD Calltaker Position is a Web-enabled Intranet application that can be accessed from anywhere within the Agencies internal network. This architecture allows for the quick and cost-effective deployment of the Calltaker capabilities. Without additional cost, calls for service can be expanded from the PSAP to include remote event entry from substations, community based installations, or mobile command posts without complicated client setups or configurations. This is a powerful extension to the calltaking/event entry process. Once location information is displayed, the CAD system provides integrated map location information, hazard information, and premise information to the calltaker. This greatly enhances the calltaker's capability to develop a more informed line of questioning to determine exact location of the emergency, the nature of the emergency, persons involved, or a dangerous scene.
