LAWSN <br />Out of Scope <br />The following items are considered outside the scope of this Project: <br />The printing of documents <br />The calculation of and collections of fees <br />The creation of non - premise based Permit Types <br />The creation of workflow with milestones and dependencies <br />The creation of billing accounts en mass <br />The establishment of subdivision and street range detail information <br />14. Simulation <br />The City will initiate a Simulation Go -Live to take place starting six -weeks prior to the actual Go -Live weekend. <br />This simulation will provide a 'dry -run' of the Go -Live activities. The City will lead, project manage and execute <br />the testing activities for Simulation. The City is responsible for testing all business processes, including <br />interfaces, during Simulation. Subcontractor will participate by aiding in the Project Management and <br />responding to and resolving issues. Subcontractor will support the Simulation activity, remotely, from Vermont <br />during normal business hours. <br />15. Go -Live <br />Definition <br />"Go Live" indicates the date on which the Application Software is operating in a production environment at the <br />City's primary place of business. Business operations and daily processing are being performed in <br />enQuestaTM. The Subcontractor PM will lead the Go -Live activities and is responsible for developing and <br />executing the Cutover Plan which details the activities and sequence of events to take place leading up to the <br />Go -Live. <br />Facilities <br />The City shall setup adequate facilities to be used as the central base of operations throughout the Go -Live <br />period. The facility must have the basic infrastructure to adequately support the Go -Live activities including <br />power sources, network access, internet access, phone, printer, and desk space to accommodate the Project <br />Team. The Subcontractor Project Team will use the facility as its core staging area for issue resolution and <br />triage, as well as deploying subject matter experts to the field for support. <br />Onsite Team <br />The Subcontractor Project Team, including the PM and Business Lead, will be onsite beginning on the Friday <br />before Go -Live. The primary responsibility of the Project Team at this point is to ensure a smooth beginning of <br />the cutover activities. Additional members of the Project Team may be deployed throughout the weekend to <br />conduct onsite testing, data validation, and the final billing parallel, as deemed by Subcontractor. <br />Billing Balancing <br />It will be necessary for the City to provide the necessary billing reports to balance billing in the legacy system to <br />enQuestaTM. Subcontractor will perform the final billing parallel and the City shall verify trial balances for <br />accuracy and grant final authorization to proceed.
