LAWSN <br />Appendix A: Roles and Responsibilities <br />The roles and responsibilities of the team members are as follows: <br />Roles and Responsibilities to be provided by the City: <br />Project Decision Team. Establishes policies and procedures, develops Project management guidelines, and <br />monitors Project progress. <br />Executive Steering Committee. Participates in setting the goals and scope of the Project and participates in <br />periodic status meetings with the Project team. <br />Executive Sponsor. Monitors and communicates Project performance and issue resolution. The Executive <br />Sponsor serves as a liaison between the Project decision team and Project manager. <br />Lawson Project Manager. Has appropriate decision - making authority and will be responsible for coordinating <br />and assigning tasks, measuring Project performance & progress, identifying and allocating resources, <br />coordinating issue resolution and maintaining overall responsibility for completion of the City assigned tasks <br />enQuesta Project Manager. Has appropriate decision - making authority and will be responsible for coordinating <br />and assigning tasks, measuring Project performance & progress, identifying and allocating resources, <br />coordinating issue resolution and maintaining overall responsibility for completion of the City assigned tasks. <br />Functional Leads. Provides and directs solutions toward goals; coordinates tasks for areas of expertise; <br />performs Project tasks; communicates and resolves issues; helps develop procedures; recommends policy <br />changes and additions; develops conference room pilot scripts; and approves Lawson approach for each area. <br />Subject Matter Experts. Participates in tasks such as: Project team training, design /configuration activities, <br />testing, and production support as deemed necessary by the Lawson Project Manager and the City Project <br />Manager. Subject Matter Experts may be Application Leads in their respective areas of expertise (i.e. Payroll <br />Lead, Benefits Lead, etc.) and other supporting personnel from the various departments. The City's Subject <br />Matter Experts should have a good working knowledge of how the City processes are performed and <br />understand the reasons for the current processes. <br />Technical Experts. Contributes technical expertise in areas such as: system administration, database <br />administration, web administration, printer administration, software patches, conversion extract programming <br />and a clear understanding of Lawson to non - Lawson interfaces. <br />ITS Work Team. Completes all tasks relating to hardware, software installation, programming and overall <br />technical and system related issues. Members of the ITS Work Team include: <br />Lawson System Administrator. Demonstrates proven expertise working with the operating system (OS). In <br />general, the Lawson System Administrator designated by the City is responsible for the following: <br />• Implements the Lawson Environment <br />• Adds and maintains users in Lawson <br />• Adds and maintains printer in Lawson <br />• Maintains system resources in Lawson <br />• Supports Lawson users on a day -to -day basis <br />• Schedules Lawson batch jobs <br />• Installs operating system and upgrades <br />• Installs non - Lawson software <br />• Establishes permissions <br />The Lawson System Administrator may also act as the City's Security Officer. <br />SOW- SantaAna- 12Feb08 vFina1_v2.doc Confidential 51 <br />
