LAWSN <br />enQuesta System Administrator. Demonstrates proven expertise working with the operating system <br />(OS). In general, the enQuesta System Administrator designated by the City is responsible for the <br />following: <br />• Implements the enQuesta Environment <br />• Adds and maintains users in enQuesta <br />• Adds and maintains printers in enQuesta <br />• Maintains system resources in enQuesta <br />• Supports enQuesta users on a day -to -day basis <br />• Schedules enQuesta batch jobs <br />• Installs operating system and upgrades <br />• Installs non- enQuesta software <br />• Establishes permissions <br />Lawson Database Administrator /Database Administrator. Lawson recommends that the City have an <br />onsite database administrator (DBA) to maintain and upgrade the relational database associated with <br />Lawson. This person may also be the Lawson Database Administrator. The Lawson Database <br />Administrator must be familiar with Lawson database utilities. This role requires detailed knowledge of <br />the forms used in the environment and in each Lawson application system for which security is to be <br />implemented, web server security knowledge (i.e. Apache, IIS, etc), and hardware operating system <br />security knowledge (i.e. Unix or Windows). This individual: <br />• Coordinates and modifies database files <br />• Reorganizes product lines <br />enQuesta Database Administrator /Database Administrator. Subcontractor recommends that the City <br />have an onsite database administrator (DBA) to maintain and upgrade the database associated with <br />enQuesta. This person may also be the enQuesta System Administrator. The enQuesta Database <br />Administrator must be familiar with enQuesta database utilities. This role requires detailed knowledge <br />of the forms used in the environment and in the enQuesta application system for which security is to be <br />implemented, web server security knowledge, and hardware operating system security knowledge (i.e. <br />Linux). This individual: <br />• Coordinates and modifies database files <br />• Reorganizes product lines <br />Lawson Security Officer. The Lawson Security Officer should work closely with application experts to <br />decide the kinds of access users should have to various components of Lawson. The Lawson Security <br />Officer may also be the Lawson System Administrator. <br />Programmer /Analysts. Demonstrates skills and understanding in <br />• Lawson architecture, standards, and development processes <br />• Database design concepts <br />• How to debug programs <br />• Program design performance considerations <br />• Methods for encapsulating external logic (such as APIs, for example) <br />• Business logic for applications <br />End Users.
