F. PROJECT HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL CONTROL <br />PENCO Engineering, Inc. shall base the project horizontal control on the <br />1983 North American Datum (NAD '83), tied to a minimum of two (2) <br />County of Orange, CCS83, Zone VI, 1991.35 shall be provided in U.S. <br />survey feet. The County of Orange horizontal control points shall <br />determine the basis of bearings for the project. The vertical control shall <br />be based upon the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAD '88) and <br />shall be tied to a minimum of two (2) proximate County of Orange bench <br />marks. The projects elevations shall be in U.S. survey feet. <br />PENCO Engineering, Inc. shall also establish secondary project bench <br />marks set at approximate 1000' intervals along Street "A" project limits. <br />G. FIELD CROSS SECTIONS <br />Cross section elevations taken at 50 ft. intervals with the placement of <br />nails and tins along street centerline at 100' stations and painted cross <br />along centerline at 50' stations. The sections will follow this format: <br />property line/right-of-way, top of curb, flow line, lip of gutter, edge of <br />pavement, finish surface at the centerline. <br />H. TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY MAP <br />PENCO Engineering, Inc. shall prepare a detailed aerial and ground <br />specific topographic map in accordance with the American Congress of <br />Surveying & Mapping (ACSM)1999 mapping requirements for the project <br />specified area as identified within item no. 9 below. Said mapping shall <br />include: <br />1. One (1.0') Contours; <br />2. One -hundred (100') spot elevations; <br />3. Fifty (50') Cross Sections tagged with curb, flow -line, lip of gutter, <br />edge of pavement and centerline of pavement finish surface and <br />right-of-way natural ground elevations; <br />4. Identification of field located utilities along with invert elevations <br />of existing sewer and storm drain facilities. <br />I. LEGALS AND EXHIBIT PLATS FOR TAKE PARCEL <br />PENCO Engineering, Inc. shall prepare legal descriptions and exhibit plats <br />for each of the proposed "take (street widening requiring private property <br />acquisitions) parcels" on an as -needed basis. <br />P:\2008\02344.00 - City of Santa Ana OnCall\Attachment A\Survey Scope of Services.5.20.08.doc <br />
