Exhibit A City of Santa Ana <br />Scope of Work Phase II <br />Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />1.1. CONSTRUCTION <br />• Contractor to provide construction management for the Work described in this section <br />• Contractor shall co-ordinate with the City's personnel on construction activities, lay- <br />down areas, schedules and phasing of Work <br />• Contractor shall prepare a detailed project schedule with start and estimated comple- <br />tion date for each project included in the Scope of Work. Project schedules shall be <br />presented in Microsoft Project format <br />• Contractor shall provide weekly Progress Reports to the Facilities Maintenance Super- <br />visor or his designee <br />• Installation and modification of equipment shall conform with 2007 California Uniform <br />Building Code, 2007 California Mechanical Code, 2007 Plumbing Code, 2007 Electrical <br />Code, 2007 Fire Code. <br />• Projects included within this Scope of Work shall be inspected by the Facilities Main- <br />tenance Superintendent, or his designated representative, for final acceptance of func- <br />tionality and quality of work <br />• Contractor shall provide a 24 hour fire watch while fire systems are impaired due to <br />Contractor's provision of services <br />• Contractor shall use the Lock-Out Tagout procedure during the performance of any <br />electrical work, and in relation to any source of energy <br />• Materials used to complete the Scope of Work shall be free of asbestos, lead, PCB and <br />other hazardous materials <br />• Contractor is responsible for engineering of systems and related components. <br />• Contractor is responsible for the accuracy of measurements, estimates or materials, <br />quantities, sizes and site conditions that will affect the Scope of Work <br />• Contractor will patch paint to match existing finishes as required due to Contractor's <br />work. <br />• Contractor shall protect and restore penetrations of firewalls and fire-protections <br />• Contractor shall provide adequate dust management to protect furniture, flooring, com- <br />puters, books, etc
