Exhibit A City of Santa Ana <br />Scope of Work Phase II <br />Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. <br />• Contractor shall store materials, tools and equipment in designated storage containers <br />during the duration of the project. <br />• Contractor employees and sub-contractors shall wear identification tags or company <br />uniforms <br />1.1.1. Lighting Upgrades <br />Total Price for this portion of the Work: $1,195,625 <br />Scope of Work <br />• Provide lighting upgrades as listed in Exhibit C-Lighting Savings <br />Description of Work <br />• Convert existing T-8 lamps to 3rd generation T-8 lamps <br />• Retrofit fixtures with T-12 lamps and magnetic ballasts with 3rd generation T-8 <br />lamps and electronic ballasts <br />• Convert incandescent lamps to compact fluorescent lamps <br />• Retrofit/replace Mercury vapor and quartz fixtures as appropriate with Induction <br />lighting and pulse start metal halides <br />Areas with low Light levels <br />• Contractor's work is based on the lighting retrofits described above for the parks, as <br />shown in Exhibit C. All lighting and electronic ballasts in the Ross Annex will be re- <br />placed as set forth in Exhibit C. At City Hall Lighting and electronic ballasts will be <br />replaced only for the first floor. Following construction, post lighting levels will be <br />documented <br />Assumptions <br />• Work will be done at such times that it will not materially disrupt City services. Con- <br />tractor and City will mutually determine which Work will be completed during the day <br />(8am-4pm) and which will be done during the second shift (4pm-12pm). <br />Exclusions <br />• Design of lighting fixture lay-outs, lighting distribution or electrical as Lighting Work <br />is limited to lamp/ballast replacement only. <br />• Pole replacement of damaged poles <br />• Battery back-up ballast replacement <br />• Lighting retrofits in areas not covered in Exhibit C and all floors at City Hall except <br />Floor 1.
