Committee may adopt, modify or reject the proposed revised <br /> passenger fare schedule. Any adopted revisions to the <br /> passenger fare schedule shall become effective no less than <br /> thirty (30) days following the adoption by the Steering <br /> Committee. <br /> 10.2.2.5. Notice of Adoption. Immediately upon the adoption of a <br /> revised passenger fare schedule, but no later than fifteen <br /> (15) days thereafter, the OCTAP Administrator shall notify <br /> OCTA Staff, the City Manager of each participating Agency, <br /> Taxicab Company Permittees, and representatives of the <br /> Orange County Tourism Industry, of said adoption, and shall <br /> post and publish a public notice of said adoption in a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the County of Orange at <br /> least once, no later than fifteen (15) days subsequent to the <br /> date of adoption. <br /> 10.2.2.6. Maiority Vote Required. Any action by the Steering <br /> Committee to adopt a revised passenger fare schedule shall <br /> require adoption by an affirmative vote of a majority of all <br /> members of the Steering Committee representing a <br /> participating Agency, regardless of the number of such <br /> members present and voting. <br /> 10.3. Refund Policy. <br /> There shall be no refund of any portion of the fees described in the OCTAP <br /> Regulations. <br /> 11. NON-PERMITTED TAXICAB OPERATION AND ADVERTISING <br /> 11.1. Purpose. <br /> The purpose of this section is to implement the administrative regulation of S.B. <br /> 1519 (Chapter 721, 2008 Statutes), which added Sections 53075.7 and 53075.9 to the <br /> California Government Code pertaining to non-permitted taxicab operations (bandit <br /> cabs) and advertising. <br /> 11.2. Information Warranting an Investigation. <br /> 11.2.1. The following information, which if provided by member Agency or <br /> OCTAP staff, law enforcement, or a member of the public, will be <br /> deemed sufficient to warrant an investigation to determine whether <br /> OCTAP should commence proceedings against the alleged illegal <br /> operation of a Taxicab or an alleged violation of the advertising <br /> requirements of California Government Code Section 53075.9: <br /> Page 31 <br /> <br /> bs~iz~.i <br /> 55C-41 <br /> <br />
