While presenting the <br />attendees with motivational information on the effect microenterprise can have on individuals, their <br />families, and their communities, we intend to be honest about the level of commitment starting a <br />business requires. Following the orientation, interested individuals will be given an opportunity to enroll in <br />the 2-week assessment program. For those that feel that they need to give the commitment more <br />thought, or discuss the opportunity with family members, the contact information for the program <br />coordinator will be made available and they will be able to call the office to enroll. Enrollment for the 2- <br />week assessment will be on a first-come first serve basis and each class will be limited to 40 individuals. <br /> <br />*Note*: A day and evening class will be offered. These classes will meet once per week and will take a <br />total of 16 weeks to complete. There will also be a "fast track" class offered twice a week, in the <br />afternoons, and will take 10 weeks to complete. Over the course of the year four 16-week sessions will <br />be offered in English, four 16-week session will be offered in Spanish, two Fast Track sessions will be <br />offered in English and two Fast Track Sessions will be offered in Spanish. All classess will be three hours <br />in length.
