<br /> <br />Orange County 85 25-29 Regional AFH <br /> <br />• In Fountain Valley, neighborhoods across the city have high economic scores. <br />• In Fullerton, there is a general north/south divide between areas with higher and <br />lower economic scores. The southeastern neighborhoods, which are predominantly <br />Hispanic, have the lowest economic scores, while the northern half of the city, <br />predominantly White and AAPI neighborhoods, have the highest economic scores. <br />• In Garden Grove, economic scores are moderate north of Garden Grove Freeway <br />(SR-22) and are higher in West Garden Grove. Economic scores are generally lower <br />south of SR-22. <br />• In Huntington Beach, neighborhoods across the city have high economic scores. <br />• In Irvine, neighborhoods across the city have high economic scores except in the <br />area surrounding UC Irvine, and in the neighborhoods east of the intersections of <br />SR-133 and I-5—these are predominantly AAPI. <br />• In La Habra, the areas with the lowest economic scores are the same areas with high <br />POC segregation, including the neighborhoods in the center of the city north of <br />Guadalupe Park and between Idaho Street to the west and Sonora High School to <br />the east. These neighborhoods are predominantly Hispanic. <br />• In Laguna Niguel, neighborhoods across the city have high economic scores, are <br />predominantly White, and are mostly areas of high White concentration. <br />• In Lake Forest, neighborhoods across the city have high economic scores except for <br />in the southeastern corner, which is a predominantly Hispanic area. <br />• In Mission Viejo, neighborhoods across the city have high economic scores, are <br />predominantly White, and are primarily areas of high White concentration. <br />• In Newport Beach, neighborhoods across the city have high economic scores, are <br />predominantly White, and are all areas of high White segregation. <br />• In Orange, neighborhoods across the city have good economic scores. The best <br />economic scores are in the neighborhoods north and east of Villa Park, where the <br />population is predominantly White and classified as an area of high White <br />segregation. The neighborhoods with lower economic scores are located west of <br />Glassel Street and north of Walnut Avenue, which is a predominantly Hispanic area. <br />• In Rancho Santa Margarita, neighborhoods across the city have high economic <br />scores, are predominantly White, and are generally areas of high White <br />concentration. <br />• In San Clemente, neighborhoods across the city have high economic scores, are <br />predominantly White, and are primarily areas of high White concentration. <br />• In Santa Ana, there are neighborhoods with low economic scores in much of the <br />central and western parts of the city, which correspond to the areas of high POC <br />segregation and are predominantly Hispanic , except for the Riverview West <br />community, which is predominantly AAPI.
