Lack of City-specific data on fair housing inquiries/complaints . <br />2. Lack of effective outreach strategies. <br />3. Concentration of lower- and moderate-income households. <br />4. Limited understanding of regulations surrounding acceptance of HCV tenants. <br />Actions: Timeframe: <br />1. Advocate to receive reports from the Orange County Fair Housing Council <br />that include data specific to the City of Cypress to allow the City to better <br />assess fair housing issues within the community. <br />Ongoing <br />2. Create an updated webpage on the City’s website with information on fair <br />housing rights and resources by 2023. <br />2023 <br />3. Publish information about fair housing resources in the City’s quarterly <br />newsletter. <br />Ongoing <br />4. Implement requirements for developers to submit an Affirmative Action <br />Marketing Plan for density bonus projects by 2023. <br />2023, ongoing <br />thereafter <br />5. Expand outreach and education of Source of Income Protection laws (SB <br />329 and SB 222), which include HCVs and other public assistance as <br />legitimate sources of income for housing. <br />Ongoing <br />6. Increase affordable housing stock in high opportunities through the <br />following actions: <br /> <br />a. Promote key lower income housing opportunity sites for <br />affordable housing development as a means to bring new housing <br />opportunities to high resource areas. <br />Ongoing <br />b. Conduct a feasibility study on the implementation of an <br />inclusionary housing ordinance by 2024. <br />2024 <br />c.
