Work with stakeholders to identify nongovernmental <br />constraints that may impede the construction of housing. <br />Ongoing <br />j. Increase participation in the Housing Choice Voucher <br />Program through the following actions: <br /> <br />i. Provide referral services and information to City <br />residents on HCV program. <br />Ongoing <br />ii. Study the feasibility of a landlord incentive program <br />for landlords that choose to accept voucher holding <br />tenants. <br />2024 <br />4. Increase housing opportunities for special needs populations <br />through the following actions: <br /> <br />a. Pursue homeless assistance grants through the Continuum <br />of Care. <br />Annually <br />b. Assist public and private nonprofit housing developers in <br />preparation of funding applications for special -needs <br />populations. <br />Annually <br />c. Conduct outreach to service providers to discuss ways the <br />City can assist in the development of housing for lower <br />income households. <br />Annually <br />d. Work with local organizations that provide assistance to <br />individuals with disabilities to implement an outreach <br />program that informs individuals with disabilities and their <br />families about housing and available services. <br />Ongoing <br />e. Prepare and distribute informational material on the <br />reasonable accommodation ordinance, that will direct people <br />to service information on the City website. <br />2024 <br />f.
