Monitor the production and affordability of ADUs every three <br />years to ensure the City is meeting ADU production targets and <br />act if projections are not consistent. <br />Perform review in <br />December 2026 <br />2. Conduct increased outreach and education on ADU and SB 9 <br />unit/lot split opportunities. <br />Ongoing <br />3. Continue to promote ADUs on the City’s website, social media, <br />and at City offices. <br />Ongoing <br />4. Allocate an appropriate level of CDBG funding in relation to the <br />local need. <br />Annually <br />8. Explore and consider Project Homekey and opportunities to <br />work with the County. <br />Ongoing <br />9. Assist applicants proposing permanent or interim supportive <br />housing by helping to apply for funding. <br />Ongoing <br />Expand the use of Housing Choice Vouchers through the following <br />actions: <br /> <br />10. Contact all low-income apartment complexes annually to <br />provide education and materials about the Section 8 program <br />including multilingual materials. <br />By July 2025 and annually <br />thereafter <br />11. Encourage the development of missing middle housing types <br />and evaluate specific methods to encourage their production in <br />RCAAs, areas of higher density, and in the central areas of the <br />City. <br />Between 2021-2029, <br />facilitate 80 “missing <br />middle” units, with at least <br />20% located in targeted <br />areas, including RCAAs, <br />higher density areas, <br />central areas of the City. <br />Preserve existing affordable housing units and prevent <br />displacement through the following actions: <br /> <br />12.
