Offer a variety of housing opportunities to enhance mobility <br />among residents of all races and ethnicities by facilitating <br />affordable housing throughout the community through the <br />following actions: <br />Goal of creating 446 <br />affordable units for lower <br />income households <br />between 2021 and 2029 <br />a. Promote by-right approvals to facilitate at least one new <br />multi-family housing project with at least 20% of units <br />for lower income households <br />2021-2029 <br />b. Promote Lot Consolidation program and incentives to <br />at least three developers. <br />2021-2029 <br />c. Implement the City’s Affordable Housing Overlay to <br />facilitate at least one new multi-family housing project <br />2021-2029 <br />d. Promote the City’s Inclusionary Housing Program to <br />facilitate at least one multi -family housing project with <br />units affordable for lower income households <br />2021-2029 <br />7. Provide rehabilitation financing assistance through the <br />Neighborhood Revitalization Program and advertise this <br />program to the western and southern areas of the City with <br />older housing units and overpaying households. <br />Assist at least two <br />homeowners per year <br />8. Increase public outreach to at least once a year and encourage <br />residents to learn about available housing programs. <br />Annually <br />9. Through the City’s fair housing service provider (FHF) increase <br />materials distribution by 25% through the following actions: <br /> <br />a. Provide fair housing education and information to <br />apartment managers and homeowner associations on <br />why denial of reasonable modifications/ <br />accommodations is unlawful through fair housing <br />service contract at least once a year. <br />Annually <br />b. Conduct multi-faceted fair housing outreach at least <br />once a year to tenants, landlords, property owners, <br />realtors, and property management companies. <br />Methods of outreach may include workshops, <br />informational booths, presentations to community <br />Annually <br />EXHIBIT 6
