Zuniga, Diana
From: Alta Baja Market <altabajamarket@gmail.com>
Sent: Tuesday, June 17, 2025 2:49 PM
To: eComment
Subject: Ecomment from Delilah SnellHAlta Baja Market
Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana.Use caution when opening attachments or links.
Dear Santa Ana councilmembers and Mayor Amezcua
These times are so troublesome for our nation, state, county and especially this city. The past 10 days have been heavy
on my heart.
Our downtown is still hurting from COVID, OCTA's ongoing construction, events that continuously close down streets
and now the National Guard shutting down a section of Fourth Street and all of Sasscer Park, bringing fear to our
community members and downtown businesses.
The businesses on the west side of 4th are especially hurting more than ever. I cannot imagine having a blockage like
that in front of my business. I know that many things are out of your hands but if you can demand to the federal
government to open the street for the sake of these businesses, you will be making a serious difference for the owners
and employees that depend on the revenue.
I hope that in these times that we can all find respect, care and above all unity between us all. This city needs it now
more than ever.
Thank you for your time.
- Delilah
iSalud!
Alta Baja Market
Market+cafe celebrating the flavors above and below the US//MX border
Order our book:Beginner's Guide to Preserving
201 E.4th St,ste 101
Santa Ana,CA 92701
714.783.2252 (BAJA)
@altabajamarket
1
