They look for answers from our governing bodies. And I feel I did my due diligence by <br /> questioning the correct entities this body and police department entrusted... to not only answer <br /> the press, but the People. Because not only do the People pay their salaries to do the job they <br /> were hired to do, but they swore to honor the responsibility of serving the city's mission, <br /> including its people, just as you all did. *points to the Council* <br /> If you allow me to distance myself from the periodical perspective for a moment... *covers <br /> newspaper logo on polo* It is my humble opinion and as a resident and taxpayer, I ask the Council if <br /> they do choose to hire an additional public information officer to fulfill one person's duties, <br /> that the same wage be kept and split among them. Better yet, pay them per question answered <br /> — say $10 bucks a pop. I really think we'd be on our way to become the most transparent city <br /> in Orange County. *uncovers newspaper logo on polo* <br /> And as for the PIOs, Chief, City Manager, City Attorney, and Council, I am still waiting on <br /> those answers.
