<br />Ordinance No. NS-XXX <br />Page 26 of 49 <br /> <br />(e) Ground Vibration <br /> <br />(1) No use shall generate ground vibration perceptible without instruments at any <br />point along the property line of the site except for motor vehicle operations. <br /> <br />(2) No vibration shall be produced that is transmitted through the ground and is <br />discernible without the aid of instruments by a reasonable person at the <br />property lines of the site. Vibrations from temporary construction, demolition, <br />and vehicles that enter and leave the subject parcel are exempt from this <br />standard. <br /> <br />(f) Storage and Screening <br /> <br />(1) No material or waste shall be deposited upon a subject parcel in such form or <br />manner that it may be transferred off the parcel by natural causes or forces. <br /> <br />(2) All materials or wastes which might cause fumes or dust, or which constitute a <br />fire hazard, or which may be edible by or otherwise be attractive to rodents or <br />insects shall be stored outdoors only in closed containers. <br /> <br />(g) Hazardous Materials <br /> <br />(1) Land or buildings shall not be used or occupied in any manner so as to create <br />any fire, explosive or other hazard. All activities involving the use or storage of <br />combustible, explosive, caustic, or otherwise hazardous materials shall comply <br />with all applicable local, State, and Federal safety standards and shall be <br />provided with adequate safety devices against the hazard of fire and explosion, <br />and adequate firefighting and fire suppression equipme nt in compliance with <br />City of Santa Ana regulations. The burning of waste materials in open fires <br />without written approval of the Fire Department is prohibited. <br /> <br />(2) No activities shall be permitted which emit dangerous radioactivity at any point <br />nor shall electrical disturbances which adversely affect the operation of any <br />equipment, other than that of the creator of such disturbances, be allowed. <br /> <br />(3) No use, activity or process shall cause electromagnetic interference with <br />normal radio and television reception, or with the function of other electronic <br />equipment beyond the property line of the site in which it is situated. All uses, <br />activities and processes shall comply with applicable Federal Communications <br />Commission regulations. <br /> <br />(h) Liquid and Solid Waste <br /> <br />(1) Liquid or solid wastes discharged from the premises shall be properly treated <br />prior to discharge so as not to contaminate or pollute any watercourse or <br />groundwater supply or interfere with bacterial processes in sewage treatment. <br /> <br />  <br />Planning Commission 1 – 38 3/6/2025 <br />
