(2) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />Consultant shall provide the following deliverables in accordance with established procedures as <br />dictated by the Program Manager or designee. Turnaround time shall not exceed thirty (30) <br />calendar days per assignment unless otherwise specified by the Program Manager or designee. <br />The Consultant is expected to be knowledgeable in environmental protection and treatment, <br />especially as it relates to sewage systems, FOG control, as well as public water systems. <br />Waste Discharge Requirements (WDR) and Sewer System Management Plans (SSMP). <br />The consultant shall be knowledgeable with the State's environmental compliance <br />regulations including the Sanitary Sewer System Waste Discharge Requirements issued <br />by the Water Resources Control Board. The consultant shall provide environmental <br />compliance services including: <br />Performing the City's SSMP Audits as required by the WDR regulations, <br />assessing the effectiveness and performance of key WDR programs, and <br />preparing a report of the findings and recommendations. <br />• Preparing City's SSMP updates as required by the WDR regulations utilizing the <br />previous updates as foundations (2019 SSMP, 2021 SSMP, 2025 SSMP, etc.) <br />Providing quarterly WDR training and advising City staff on emerging issues, <br />revisions and additions to the SSS WDR. <br />• Provide updates and training on SSO contingency plans for the City's sewage lift <br />stations. <br />Providing SSO response support, including data analysis, volume estimating, <br />reporting, etc. <br />• Develop a sewer system maintenance (cleaning) program and schedule which <br />prioritizes sewer main cleaning based on parameters such as topography, <br />condition of pipe, flow characteristics and historical inspection analyses. The <br />proposed sewer maintenance program will optimize cleaning frequencies and <br />resource deployment. Deliverables will include cleaning program maps in PDF <br />format and in GIS format compatible for use with the City's infraMAP software. <br />2. FOG Program Management. <br />The Consultant shall collect, organize, and manage the FOG control program data. The <br />current and existing geodatabase shall be maintained and updated. The Consultant shall <br />provide monthly inspection reports and include the following: number of inspections made <br />during the period, findings (i.e. out of compliance, follow-up inspections, etc.), provide <br />recommendations and assist the FOG Manager with follow up documentation and <br />technical expertise. The Consultant shall coordinate meetings with the FOG Control <br />Program Manager to evaluate and prioritize required activities. The Consultant shall be <br />available during normal working hours, after hours and weekends to provide assistance <br />as required. <br />
