Adopt a resolution approving Historic Register Categorization Nos. 2003-02 through <br />2003-06. <br />Melanie McCann, Associate Planner, presented the staff report and recommendation. <br />Chairman Giles opened the public hearing. <br />Robert and Phyllis Henderson, owners of the Borchard House located at 1617 East <br />Fourth Street, spoke in opposition to categorization and placement on the Register. <br />They noted that the structure had been damaged recently in a fire and their insurance <br />company had advised them that they would not be able to obtain insurance coverage <br />that included replacement value if the house is designated as historic. They also stated <br />that placement on the Register would have an adverse economic impact as they would <br />not be able to sell the house for full value. <br />Bonnie Cassazza, owners of the Greenwald House located at 1810 Greenleaf, spoke in <br />opposition of placement on the Register at this time and requested a six-month <br />continuation to allow them to learn about implications associated with placement. <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION MINUTES 3 EEBRUARY 6, 2003 <br />
