continued detention or conditions of detention. <br /> 3. Representation of an individual subject to removal in limited scope withholding-only <br /> proceedings before a federal immigration judge. <br /> 4. Representation of an individual seeking relief from an Immigration Judge's final <br /> administrative order in prior removal proceedings directly with the Immigration Court, <br /> including via motions to reopen or reconsider. <br /> 5. Representation of an individual in state court proceedings related to removal defense, such <br /> as proceedings regarding Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and Post-Conviction Relief. <br /> 6. Representation of derivative family members in related immigration petitions or <br /> applications. <br /> 7. Provision of limited scope services to pro se individuals detained in immigration raids, <br /> such as conducting legal consultations, providing legal advice, and preparing individuals <br /> for credible and reasonable fear interviews. <br /> The firm, at its discretion,may provide appellate representation to clients that it represented before <br /> an immigration judge. Should the firm determine that appellate representation is warranted, <br /> appellate representation services may include, but not be limited to, the following types of legal <br /> services: <br /> 8. Assist in submitting Motions to Reopen to the Board of Immigrant Appeals (BIA) and <br /> filing petitions for review, along with motions for stays of removal with the Federal Court <br /> of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the firm's decision to <br /> represent a client before the BIA does not obligate it to represent such client before the <br /> Ninth Circuit. <br /> 9. When necessary, offer and provide representation until the completion of appellate cases <br /> before the BIA or Ninth Circuit Court. <br /> Additionally, the firm shall produce quarterly reports and be available to attend two in-person <br /> meetings. <br /> 10. Provide quarterly reports, in a format prescribed by the City, to City's Project Manager to <br /> share progress on providing services under the Scope of Services. <br /> 11. ImmDef shall be prepared to attend up to two (2) in-person meetings with City's Project <br /> Manager and staff and/or City representatives as requested by the City at ImmDefs sole <br /> cost. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 12. ImmDef agrees to initiate representation with a minimum of 12 new clients during the <br /> initial year following execution of this Agreement, while maintaining any active cases <br /> where representation was initiated during previous contract years with the City. <br /> 13. ImmDef agrees to take on l2 new cases each year the contract is extended,with a maximum <br /> cap of 70 active cases. This would be a maximum of 2 full-time attorney caseloads (max <br /> caseload of 35 cases). <br /> 14. To reduce the possibility of legal services being halted due to the 70 case cap, ImmDef will <br /> be required to provide an explanation for any case that has no activity reported for two <br /> consecutive quarters. <br />
