A. Completion of five (5) years of municipal <br /> police experience and attainment of the "E" step of the base <br /> salary rate range for the Patrolman classification. <br /> B. Completion (acquisition) of at least sixty <br /> (60) educational and/or training units. <br /> C. Assignment to uniformed patrol duty in Field <br /> Operations Division. <br /> D. Approval of the Chief of Police. <br /> "Section S. Senior Felice Officer 'II. Any sworn, <br /> uniformed police officer who ful£zils the requirements <br /> established in this section shall be designated as a Senior <br /> Police Officer II and shall be paid an additional twelve and <br /> one-half percent (12.5%) (twenty-five 'salary rate ranges) <br /> above his or her then current base monthly salary step. The <br /> criteria for such designation shall' be as follows: <br /> A. Completion of seven (7) years of municipal <br /> police experience 'and attainment of the "E" step of the base <br /> salary rate 'range 'for the Patrolman classification. <br /> B. Completion .(acquisition) of at .least ninety <br /> (90) educational and/or training units; or possession of an <br /> Associate of Arts degree from an accredited college with an <br /> additional fifteen (15) or more. educational or training <br /> units. <br /> C. Assignment to uniformed patrol duty in Field <br /> Operations Division. <br /> D. Approval of the Chief of Police. <br /> ''Section •6.. ' 'Senior Police Officer III. The criteria for <br /> such designation shall be 'as follows: <br /> A. Completion of nine (9) years of municipal <br /> police experience and attainment of the - "E" step of the base <br /> salary rate 'range for the 'Patrolman classification. <br /> B. Completion (acquisition) of at least one <br /> hundred twenty (120) education and/or training units; or <br /> possession of an Associate of Arts degree 'from an accredited <br /> -10- <br />
