Nuesse, M.D. and Mary-Ann Nuesse, D.O., a California <br />Medical Corporation, dba Sunrise Multispecialist Medical Center for Occupational <br />Medical Services (Specification No. 25-065) (Non-General Fund) <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with William H. Nuesse, M.D. and <br />Mary-Ann Nuesse, D.O., a California Medical Corporation, dba Sunrise Multispecialist <br />Medical Center to provide occupational medical services in an amount not to exceed <br />$200,000, for a term beginning January 1, 2026 and expiring December 31, 2028, with <br />provisions for two (2), one (1) year extensions. (Agreement No. A-2025-XXX) <br />GOVERNMENT CODE §84308 APPLIES: Yes <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Human Resources Department is seeking a consultant to provide medical services, <br />such as organizing, scheduling, managing, and/or evaluating a comprehensive range of <br />medical services and examinations. These services are necessary to assist in <br />determining if a prospective or current City employee is suitable for employment. <br />Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 25-065 was issued on April 17, 2025 on the City’s <br />online bid management and publication system. A summary of vendor participation and <br />results is as follows: <br />90 Vendors notified <br />3 Santa Ana vendors notified <br />20 Vendors downloaded the RFP packet <br />5 Proposals received <br />1 Proposal received from Santa Ana vendor <br /> <br />
