Statement of Interest <br /> The Frida Cinema, a not-for-profit organization founded in 2014 and located in <br /> Downtown Santa Ana, is honored to submit this proposal to continue to serve as the producing <br /> organization for the DTSA First Saturday ArtWalk. This free monthly community cultural event <br /> aligns directly with our nonproft's mission: to enrich, connect, and educate communities through <br /> the cinematic and visual arts. Having successfully produced ArtWalk since January, 2023, we are <br /> confident in our capacity to continue elevating the event with expanded programming, artist <br /> engagement, and new opportunities for community partnerships. <br /> Our vision for ArtWalk 2025-2026 centers on increasing participation, diversifying <br /> artistic disciplines, and creating more immersive experiences. Each month, ArtWalk will feature <br /> curated exhibitions, live music, performance art,public installations, outdoor dancing, and <br /> family-friendly activities. We plan to deepen our relationships with local galleries, artists, and <br /> cultural institutions, while continuing to provide activation spaces for emerging creators and <br /> nonprofit partners. With the benefit of insights gained over the 30+ArtWalk events we have <br /> produced, we will continue to refine logistics and marketing strategies to enhance the overall <br /> attendee experience. <br /> Our qualifications for this project are grounded in our successful track record as the <br /> current producers of DTSA First Saturday ArtWalk, our long-standing presence in Downtown <br /> Santa Ana, and our deep relationships with the local creative community. As an established <br /> nonprofit with demonstrated experience in event production, community engagement, and <br /> collaborative cross-disciplinary arts programming, The Frida Cinema is uniquely positioned to <br /> continue stewarding this initiative with professionalism, inclusivity, and creativity. <br />
