The Goodwin House, built circa 1903,�is eligible for inclusion on the Register as it is a representative example of the Dutch Colonial variant of the Colonial Rev. al architectural style. It is also eligible for listing as a building connected with agriculture, a use or business that was once common and is now rare. The farmhouse structure is eligible to be placed within the Key category for its distinctie architectural style and quality as illustrated by its massing; intersecting gambrel roof; boxed eaves and horizontal cornice returns; narrow clapboard sheathes; a recessed porch divided into three bays by pairs of slender wood posts with simple bases and capitols; several four -over -four double -hung sash windows; and a shallow bay window with paneled spandrels on the northern portion of the front fagade. • 2315 North Santiago Street, Baker House. The Baker House, built in 1923, is eligible for inclusion on the Register as it is a representative example of the Dutch Colonial variant of the Colonial Revival architectural style. The two-story structure is eligible to be placed within the Key category for its distinctive architectural style and quality as illustrated by its uniquely tailored gambrel roof; exposed braces and rafters in overhanging eaves; wide clapboard sheathes; a side -gabled front porch entry that rests on Tuscan columns; and a series of four -over -four double --hung sash windows. • 317 East Santa Clara Avenue, Wettlin House. The Wettlin House, built in 1926,1 is eligible for inclusion on the Register as it is a representative example of a highly picturesque Tudor Revival architectural style. The one-story structure is eligible to be placed within the Key category for its distinctive architectural style and quality as illustrated by its steeply pitched, cross - gabled roof; front -gable detailed with clapped or 3erkinhead peak; an arched front door with an octagonal window; a series of tripartite windows, some topped by a transom; and a front gabled dormer accented with an arrow tipped bargeboard and exposed beams. Based on findings consistent F the Santa Ana Municipal ?sources Commission approve with the criteria established in Chapter 30 Code, it is recommended that the Historic the actions as noted.
