The Goodwin House, <br />built circa 1903,�is eligible for inclusion on the Register as it <br />is a representative example of the Dutch Colonial variant of the <br />Colonial Rev. al architectural style. It is also eligible for <br />listing as a building connected with agriculture, a use or <br />business that was once common and is now rare. The farmhouse <br />structure is eligible to be placed within the Key category for <br />its distinctie architectural style and quality as illustrated by <br />its massing; intersecting gambrel roof; boxed eaves and <br />horizontal cornice returns; narrow clapboard sheathes; a recessed <br />porch divided into three bays by pairs of slender wood posts with <br />simple bases and capitols; several four -over -four double -hung <br />sash windows; and a shallow bay window with paneled spandrels on <br />the northern portion of the front fagade. <br />• 2315 North Santiago Street, Baker House. The Baker House, built <br />in 1923, is eligible for inclusion on the Register as it is a <br />representative example of the Dutch Colonial variant of the <br />Colonial Revival architectural style. The two-story structure is <br />eligible to be placed within the Key category for its distinctive <br />architectural style and quality as illustrated by its uniquely <br />tailored gambrel roof; exposed braces and rafters in overhanging <br />eaves; wide clapboard sheathes; a side -gabled front porch entry <br />that rests on Tuscan columns; and a series of four -over -four <br />double --hung sash windows. <br />• 317 East Santa Clara Avenue, Wettlin House. The Wettlin House, <br />built in 1926,1 is eligible for inclusion on the Register as it is <br />a representative example of a highly picturesque Tudor Revival <br />architectural style. The one-story structure is eligible to be <br />placed within the Key category for its distinctive architectural <br />style and quality as illustrated by its steeply pitched, cross - <br />gabled roof; front -gable detailed with clapped or 3erkinhead <br />peak; an arched front door with an octagonal window; a series of <br />tripartite windows, some topped by a transom; and a front gabled <br />dormer accented with an arrow tipped bargeboard and exposed <br />beams. <br />Based on findings consistent <br />F the Santa Ana Municipal <br />?sources Commission approve <br />with the criteria established in Chapter 30 <br />Code, it is recommended that the Historic <br />the actions as noted. <br />
