Elliott House located <br />at 1905 North Valencia Street. The F.B. Elliot House, built circa 1912, <br />qualifies for listin on the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties <br />as a representative xample of Bunglow/Craftman style architecture. The <br />structure is eligible to be placed within the Key category for its <br />distinctive architec ural style and quality as illustrated by its side <br />gabled roof with rafters exposed at the eaves; sheathing in shingle <br />courses of alternate-9 heights; a recessed porch spanning most of the <br />facade, featuring a brick wall and pedestals; massive brick piers <br />marking the end of t e porch; and a series of casement windows featured <br />in the front facade. <br />Based on findings consistent with the criteria established in Chapter 30 <br />of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, it is recommended that the Historic <br />Resources Commission approve the actions as noted. A case planner <br />correspondence log is attached for your review (Exhibit 5). <br />03QA Compliance <br />yIz accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the <br />recommended action is exempt from further review.
