ENVIRDNMENTAL IMPACT REPORT ADDENDUM <br />F Bristol Street and Memory Lane Intersection Improvements —Project No. 17 E883 <br />A resource determined by the lead agency, in its discretion and supported by substantial evidence, to <br />be siguffk- ant pursuant to criteria set forth in subdivision {c) of Public Resources Code Section <br />5024.1. In applying the criteria setfornth in subdivision (e) of Public Resource Code Section 5024.1, <br />the lead agency shall consider the significance of the resource to a CWornia Native American <br />W e. <br />The Project is not subject to AB 52 and did not undergo the AB 52 Consultation Process. Notwithstanding, the 1990 <br />FEISIEIR, no historical or archaeological resources were identified in the Project vicinity pertaining to Native <br />American resources. Further, during public noticing periods, letters received from the Office of Historic <br />Preservation indicated that the Bristol Widening Project would not affect historic properties. No correspondence <br />from any tribes were received during the 1990 FEISIEIR. No new impacts have been identified. Should any <br />unknown tribal cultural resources be uncovered during grading/site disturbance activities, the Project would be <br />required to Comply with the 1990 FEISIEIR Mitigation Measure T-1. Impacts in this regard would be less than <br />significant. <br />Certified 1990 FEISIEIR Mitigation Measures: Refer to 1990 FEISIEIR Mitigation Measure T-1 <br />Mitigation Measures: No additional mitigation measures are required. <br />3.18 UTILITIES AND SERVICE SYSTEMS <br />This section corresponds with the 1990 FEISIEIR, Section IV, Environmental Consequences and Mitigation <br />A�ka vurav, Subsection S, Effict on Utilities, and Subsection V, Construction Impacts. <br />wouid the project. <br />o} Exceed wastewater treatment requirements of the applicable Regional lVater duality Control <br />Board? <br />The proposed Project entails intersection improvements; such improvements would. not result in the generation of <br />wastewater. No new significant impact is anticipated. Impacts would not begreater than that previously analyzed <br />in the 1990 FEISIEIR. <br />Certified 1990 FEISIEIR Mitigation Measures: No 1990 FEISIEIR mitigation measures are applicable: <br />Mitigation Measures: No additional mitigation measures are required. <br />bj Require or result in the consh7wtion of new water or wastewater treahnentfacilities or expansion of <br />exAtWgfaae9ities, the conistnwdon of Wikh could cause significant environmental effecis? <br />The proposed Project would not require or result in the construction of new water or wastewater treatment facilities <br />or expansion of existing facilities. No new significant impact is anticipated. Implementation of 1990 FEISIEIR <br />Mitigation Measures V-14 and V-17 would reduce impacts to less than significant. Impacts would not be greater <br />than that previously analyzed in the 1990 FEIS/F.tR- <br />Certified 1990 FEISIEIR Mitigation Measures- <br />V-14 Project plans and construction activities will be closely coordinated with local utility purveyors in <br />order to make the necessary arrangements for the relocation of facilities and avoid or minimize any <br />disruption to service. It is also recommended that the utilities provide adequate notice to its customers <br />of any service disruptions. <br />V-17 The City of Santa Ana's Public Works Director will coordinate closely with all agencies and <br />companies which maintain underground or at -grade utility or energy facilities within the areas to be <br />disturbed by project construetion activities. Preliminary and final design plans will be made available <br />to such agencies for review and comment. At least 48 hours prior to commencement of any excavation <br />activities, the City will contact the Underground Service Alert to notify the affected utilitylenergy <br />purveyors who can place their personnel at the excavation site to assist in the location of underground <br />Final I December 2017 3-28 Environmental Consequences <br />
