<br /> s <br />The ADA Sidewalk Improvements <br />Project completed in December 2025, <br />delivered critical accessibility upgrades at Lilly <br />King Park, Memorial Park, Heritage Park, and <br />Portola Park by removing and replacing <br />approximately 20,000 square feet of non-ADA- <br />compliant sidewalks. The project focused on <br />improving safety and accessibility throughout <br />each park, ensuring pathways meet ADA <br />standards and provide smooth, continuous <br />routes for all users. Related work included tree <br />root shaving and reconfigured layouts to <br />resolve drainage issues and reduce the <br />likelihood of future sidewalk damage. The <br />improvements enhance access for all park <br />visitors, including individuals with disabilities, <br />seniors, and families with strollers, creating <br />»Above: Picture of ADA Improvements at Memorial <br />safer, more inclusive public spaces. <br />Park. <br /> New Prefabricated Restroom Replacements at City Parks <br />Completed in August 2025, installation of new prefabricated restrooms at four City parks <br />modernized restroom facilities at Heritage Park, Angels Park, Riverview Park, and <br />Windsor Park by removing aging, original-to-park restrooms, and replacing them with new <br />prefabricated structures that meet current ADA requirements and building code <br />standards.
