The SoCAB includes all of Orange County, Los Angeles County <br />(except for the Antelope Valley), the non -desert portion of western San Bernardino County, and the <br />western and Coachella Valley portions of Riverside County. The San Gabriel, San Bernardino, and <br />San Jacinto Mountains bound the SoCAB on the north and east while the Pacific Ocean lies to the <br />west of the SoCAB. The southern limit of the SoCAB is the San Diego County line. The SoCAB is <br />under the jurisdiction of South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD)." <br />The air pollutants for which national and State standards have been promulgated and that are most <br />relevant to air quality planning and regulation in the SoCAB include ozone, nitrogen oxides (NOx), <br />11 South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). 2022.
