City of Santa Ana Baseline Sales Tax Extension Survey December 2025 <br />There are no guarantees on how funds will be <br />spent, which means the City can divert the <br />B <br />money to pet projects without any say from <br />30% <br />37% <br />14% <br />9% <br />8% <br />2% <br />voters. We can't trust the City with our tax <br />dollars. The will mismanage the money. <br />Everyone is coming after us for tax increases <br />- including state and county taxes, school <br />C <br />bonds, and other taxes that will be on the <br />35% <br />33% <br />1 5% <br />9% <br />6% <br />3% <br />ballot next year. Enough is enough. We can't <br />afford to keep raisin our taxes. <br />City employees are making too much money <br />D <br />in sala <br />Now that you have heard a bit more about the measure, let me read you a summary of it one <br />more time: <br />To maintain funding for city ser• vices, such as: <br />• Fire protection, paramedic, and 9-1-1 emergency response <br />• Crime prevention <br />• Graffiti removal <br />• Addressing homelessness <br />And keeping streets, sidewalks, parks and public facilities safe, clean, and well- <br />Qll <br />maintained <br />shall City of Santa Ana's ordinance renewing the existing 1 .5 (one point five) cent sales <br />tax be adopted at the current rate (no increase), providing approximately 84 million <br />dollars annually for city services until ended by voters, with independent audits, citizen <br />oversight, and all money locally controlled? <br />If the election were held today, would you vote yes or no on this measure?
