cell. <br />Preliminary indications suggested that Samuel committed suicide in his cell this morning <br />through self-inflicted hanging. <br />&RUUHFWLRQDO 6XSHUYLVRU 0RQUHDO WKHQ FRQFOXGHG WKH EULHILQJ <br />1435 hours: <br />Santa Ana Jail Correctional Officer D. Godinez #3694 was assigned to complete a crime <br />VFHQH ORJ , FKHFNHG LQWR WKH FULPH VFHQH ZLWK &RUUHFWLRQDO 2IILFHU *RGLQH] <br />1506 hours: <br />Deputy Coroner Babcock began her physical body examination of Samuel. She noted a <br />slight line on the right side of his neck, but an absence of any defined ligature marking. She <br />also did not observe any petechiae in either eye of Samuel. <br />1615 hours: <br />At the conclusion of the preliminary examination of Samuel, Cary Franco and Draydon <br />Dehart from Traditional Funeral Services arrived ato transport Samuel to the Orange County <br />Coroner¶s Office. <br />1619 hours: <br />The physical inspection of Samuel¶s body was completed and he was placed in a white body <br />bag, with seal # 0195019 affixed. <br />1620 hours: <br />Samuel was removed from Module 4C. <br />The Deputy Coroner as well as Orange County Crime Lab personnel also left the scene. <br />1635 hours: <br />Due to the number of inmates housed in Module 4C, District Attorney Investigator D. Melnyk <br />and I assisted other investigators with interviews of some of the inmates housed within the <br />module. <br />We conducted interviews in the multipurpose room. The interviews were audio recorded by <br />DA Investigator D.
