SANTA ANA REZONE PROJECT <br /> INITIAL STUDYIMITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> c) Conflict with existing zoning for, or cause rezoning of, forest land (as defined in <br /> Public Resources Code Section 12220(g)), timberland (as defined by Public <br /> Resources Code Section 4526), or timberland zoned Timberland Production (as <br /> defined by Government Code Section 51104(g))? <br /> No impact. CEQA requires the evaluation of forest and timber resources where those resources are <br /> present; however, the project site is located in an urban built-up area and there is no forest or <br /> timberland in the vicinity. The project site is developed and used as an overflow parking lot for the <br /> Santa Ana Zoo. The project site is not designated as or zoned for forest land, timberland, or <br /> Timberland Production.As such, no impact would occur. <br /> d) Result in the loss of forest land or conversion of forest land to non-forest use? <br /> No impact. The project is located in an urban built-up area-, there is no forest land within the vicinity <br /> of the project site. The project site does not contain forest land and is used as an overflow parking lot <br /> for the Santa Ana Zoo.As such, no impact would occur. <br /> e) Involve other changes in the existing environment which, due to their location or <br /> nature, could result in conversion of Farmland,to nonagricultural use or conversion <br /> of forest land to non-forest use? <br /> No impact.As mentioned above, there is no farmland or forestland in or around the project site. <br /> Therefore, the proposed project would not induce the conversion of Farmland to nonagricultural uses <br /> or the conversion of forest land to non-forest use.
