REYNOSO Approved By: <br />Date of Report: 01/05/13 Date:01/08/13 <br />Page 1 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CASE NAME: LEON, IGNACIO JR. <br />CLASSIFICATION: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING (NON-FATAL) <br />TYPE: CANVASS <br />AGENCY: SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />On December 16, 2012, at approximately 0130 hours, I was contacted by Orange County <br />District Attorney Supervising Investigator RON SEMAN who notified me of an officer involved <br />shooting involving the Santa Ana Police Department. SEMAN requested I respond to 506 East <br />Washington Avenue, in the city of Santa Ana, and assist in the investigation. <br /> I arrived on scene at approximately 0251 hours, and joined a briefing of the shooting <br />incident. The briefing had already commenced, and was given by Santa Ana Police Sergeant JAY <br />MILLER. Present at the briefing were investigators from the Orange County District Attorney’s <br />Office, the Santa Ana Police Department, and members Orange County Crime Lab. <br /> At the conclusion of the briefing, SEMAN partnered me with Santa Ana Police <br />Investigator GUSTAVO MOROYOQUI to conduct canvass interviews of the shooting scene and <br />the surrounding area. <br />At approximately 0315 hours, MOROYOQUI and I conducted the following audio digital <br />recorded canvass interviews: Please refer to the audio recordings for full and complete details <br />of the interviews. <br /> <br /> <br />ORANGE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE <br />BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION <br /> <br />SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT <br />
